Firstly, talking about the cover and the blurb. If you’ve been following me for the last one year, you must have read my review of the previous three installments too, which I loved a lot. The covers are designed beautifully following the minimalist design techniques and give a subtle feel.

Coming to the content of the book, it’s been written in the POV of Mandodari, Ravana’s wife. She’s shown as a very intelligent woman, often misunderstood by the people around her. The text overall would be a delight to the eyes of a feminist. The writing maintains a flow throughout, even though some chapters are too slow as compared to the others.

I’d recommend this book to you if you’re :
1. Interested in reading female POV
2. Want to know about a different side of the Ramayana (even though the book is purely fictional, you might get to know a lot more about what was happening in Lanka when Sita was kidnapped by Ravana.)

Lastly, thank youย @panmacmillanindiaย andย @koraldasguptaย for the copy of this book.
