Trust me, an amazing read. Similar to all Indian dramas featuring naagins, but much better.
Here’s what I think :
π
Savvy and Griffin are deeply enamored and on the verge of exchanging vows. However, their wedding ceremony uncovers a significant secret that both have kept hidden. Savvy, as it turns out, is a witch, while Griffin is a witch hunter, spelling doom for their nuptials. Each is now burdened with the responsibility of eliminating the other, but as they embark on this path, they realize the existence of a formidable common threat. To overcome this peril, the two must reconcile their differences and join forces once again.
π
I adore enchanting romances filled with magic, and “Mr. And Mrs. Witch” was no exception. It exuded humor, cuteness, sensuality, and a touch of sorcery. Savvy and her coven exemplified the quintessential image of witches, with their ability to soar on brooms and shapeshift with their familiar companions. The book hinted at the potential for further exploration of Savvy’s friends’ lives, which I found intriguing.
π
The romance here was an absolute delight, starting with their marriage and then turning into chaos. The narrative skillfully unfolded across two timelines: the present, where Savvy and Griffin teetered on the brink of matrimony and imminent danger, and the past, which chronicled their initial meeting and the evolution of their relationship.
π
Savvy and Griffin are deeply enamored Although I usually don’t gravitate toward dual timelines, I found myself irresistibly drawn to the present timeline, desiring more of its storyline.
π
Perhaps my only reservation was the scarcity of angst in the story. Given the witch-witch hunter dynamic, I anticipated a heightened emotional turmoil, but it was tempered by the strength of Savvy and Griffin’s bond. While this was commendable, I still longed for a touch more angst to intensify the narrative.
π
All in all, “Mr. And Mrs. Witch” proved to be an enjoyable and fast-paced romance that held me captive until the very end.
